Teambuilding
A lot of rafts are Company based and used as a team building exercise.
The premise behind this is to pit one department or site against another and to see how they fare.
Organising the design and building of a team raft is often more tricky that getting people to paddle.
Even more difficult is to obtain sponsorship monies from each team - but that is up to you.
